Remember when we were kids and everything was either a game or a competition?  We were constantly adventuring and the world was this wondrous place.  You couldn’t stop us from seeking out new places to explore.  Pushbikes were for racing our friends to new adventures and doing jumps on the way. The kids we played with were our friends, maybe only because we played together.  That enough was reason to smile.

Hey, guess what? Just because we got older doesn’t mean we had to grow up. And it definitely doesn’t mean we need to leave behind that awesome, irresponsible and wide-eyed adventurer that lives within all of us. Come with us and scrape your knees, play some games, laugh a lot (and swear a little). Bigger adventures are waiting to be experienced.  New places to be discovered.  Fast friends waiting to be made.  Dash Adventure Club is about accessing those days of big smiles... & cranking up the ‘woah factor’.  It’s about travel, adventure & people.   

Travel.

“Oh my gosh, I love travel” says every Tinder profile ever written. We love travel too, but we’re not your standard kinda people lining up for ‘Spring Break in Cancun’ or ‘Aspen with the children daaahling’. We’re more into remote islands in the Savu Sea, villages fringing the Mekong River, and the best Nasi Goreng you’ve ever eaten from the smallest place you’ll never forget. We try and combine the best of the tourist routes along with cool spots off the beaten track. A little bit of A and a little bit of B, all while making it a race/competition during the trip. That’s our kind of travel.

Adventure.

If the kind of adventure you’re looking for lives within the pages of the cocktail menu, this probably isn’t the trip for you. We’re more about team tug-of-war than team tequila. I mean we’re not the fun police, but it’s hard to climb into a zorb ball with a hangover & not vomit… trust us, we were 21 once.

Our adventures are mostly active and competitive. Teams battling for supremacy in sports, games, and races… think obstacle courses, kayak races, and maybe getting lost in a market place during a scavenger hunt, forgetting your team assigned cash and having to trade manual labour for a lift back to the hotel in a rickshaw… true story.

Rest assured though, it’s not just for the jocks. The more creative competitors might just crush it in competitive cooking, jewellery making, graffiti painting, or a photography challenge. In every race, we also have a community contribution challenge which might involve spending part of a day teaching sustainability to children at a school, helping weave or construct furniture in a local village, doing a beach clean up, or anything the community would love help with.
